B.E.A.C.H. Wednesday Night Program
“It takes a whole village
to raise a child.”
B.E.A.C.H. is our midweek village
building event. B.E.A.C.H. stands for Bible Education and Activities
at our Church Home. This intergenerational program promotes spiritual
development, love of the arts and builds relationships between children
and adults, etc.
So exactly what happens at B.E.A.C.H.?
- Between 4:00-4:15 P.M. each Wednesday children arrive and from
4:15-5:50 children go to classes in experiential bible study,
dance, music, visual arts and multimedia.
- From 5:50-6 P.M., children and adults sit at assigned tables
for songs, jokes, announcements and prayer.
- At 6 P.M. we all eat together and enjoy the dessert. After dinner
and clean up, recreational activities are lead for children, and
adults may go to Bell choir, adult bible study and later to choir
rehearsal. In between all this activity is time just to be at
the church and enjoy each other’s company.
