Our own children have shown us that they want to light a candle on an altar their size and pray for one of their friends, a pet, a member of their family or changes they would like to see in the world. They have shown us that they want a chance to make a difference in the world by helping out at Shepherd’s Warehouse, Sunshine Acres or raising money for the Heifer Project. They have shown us that they want to ask questions and have a safe place where a caring leader asks: How are you? How was your week? Did you have any God moments? And then really listen for the answer.

So we have thrown out the slick curriculum and opted for utilizing the same worship outline for the Studio which is carefully developed each week by our ministers and worship team. This means that children, parents and other adults can have conversations about what they each have learned and experienced in church for that particular Sunday. For ongoing continuity of our community and to help enliven worship, every 6 weeks children will be involved in the Studio worship or on a mission field trip. Children are always welcome to stay in the “adult” worship and are not required but invited to participate in Children’s Church.
